TWISTEES PASTA CHIPS

Twistees flavoured crispy Rigatoni. You can serve these with your favourite sauce or dip.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large Packet of Twistees

  • 400g Rigatoni or Penne Pasta

  • Olitalia E/V Olive Oil

  • 2tbsp Grated Grana Padano Cheese

  • 1tsp Dry Oregano

  • 1/2tsp Garlic Powder

  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Directions:

  1. Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water until it’s cooked ‘al dente’ 

  2. Drain the water and place the pasta in a bowl.

  3. Add about a tablespoon of olive oil, mix well, then add the oregano, garlic powder salt, and pepper. 

  4. Pulverise the Twistees in a food processor then add them to the pasta together with the Grand cheese. 

  5. Mix well until the pasta is well coated, and discard the extra mixture which is at the bottom of the bowl. 

  6. Transfer the pasta to your air fryer, or if you prefer the oven place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

  7. Air fry at 180°c for 10-12 minutes or in the oven between 15-20 minutes until the pasta is darkly golden. 

  8. Place it in a bowl and drizzle with more salt if desired.

  9. Allow it to completely cool. The cooler it gets, the crispier it will become. 

  10. Serve with a sauce or a dip of your choice.
